    my partners zafira has been recalled for the cim but the letter says we need the security pass which she dosnt have
    ive called the supplying dealer and they said they dont have the security number only the radio code?? is this code for the radio the only code security code that i need or have i got to go the stealers for a car pass??

    The recall for the CIM basically involves fixing a clamp or clip to the CIM to reduce vibration. Can't see why they would need the Car Pass just to do that.

    Big Dave is right, you deffo dont need the car pass for the cim recall. The only way they would need it is if they do something daft and need to recode your keys or something like that but then its their problem!

    the letter states that we need the car pass because its something to do with the horn maybe thats why they need it

    Youll need the pass chris as the sec code is different to the radio and the key codes.

    its only a ****** peace of paper and my dealers wanted £32+vat and 1 £20 +vat i think they should be free
