How easy is it to fit fog lights to a car that doesnt have them? I've got a facelift front grill.
Is it a whole mission with wiring etc? I know i'll have to change the lighting controls in the dash but after that i'm pretty stumped

Ease of fitting depends on how much of the wiring is already in place and whether you want to retro-fit factory fogs or aftermarket fogs.... assunimg you want factory then open the bonnet and look down the passenger side of the radiator at the inside of the bumper... is there a chunky plug there that plugs into the bumper... if so reach down to remove it and see how many wires or pins are fitted to the plug... also look in the fusebox under the bonnet to see if the fuse for the fogs is in place...
If you use the factory wiring, you'll also need a Tech2 session to enable them.
I'm in the process of retrofitting to mine. You will need to replace the under bonnet fuse box as there is a module built in to it specific for the foglight's, you'll need the front loom that runs between the foglight's on the bumper, the foglight surrounds a new headlight switch unit and a tech2/opcom session.
Which number is it, i've looked and looked and can see which one it is?
Probably just as easy to add your own relay and switch and keep it independent of the Vectra ECU if you're not bothered about using the standard switch panel.
Battery +ve to 20A fuse in holder.
Other side of fuse holder to relay switch centre.
Relay NO connection to foglight supplies (in parallel)
Foglight earths to battery -ve (or chassis)
Sidelight feed to new foglight switch on dash
Other side of foglight switch to relay coil
Other side of relay coil to battery -ve (or chassis)
You can get nice wiring kits from the likes of Halfords with everything you need (bar the actual lights).
so bumper off job over the weekend then? lol
have i replace the whole fusebox??
