    Default DIAGNOSTIX Discount

Is the discount offer still live?

I am looking at a CR1 / CR2 for my 1.9 CDTI 150 and noticed the thread showing that DIAGNOSTIX were offering up to 40% discount if you mentioned Vectra-C.com when ordering.

Still can't decide on the CR1 or CR2

    Thanks

You can try calling them and asking..

If it's the thread i'm thinking of then it is quite old, but if you don't ask etc..

I've had the CR1 and the Powerclik Red boxes on mine and have just fitted one of THESE
Took it out for a spin in the dark last night and boy does it go well. Not a trace of the dreaded black cloud behind me

All for £65 delivered. Can't be bad

Mmmmm.........Tempted, but since I cannot understand a word of the item description, not too sure.

£65 seems very cheap, near on £200 below other brands. This does not fill me with confidence when it comes to quality etc.

At least the CR1 etc have been tested and if you have any problem you can pick up the phone and talk to someone you understand.

I think I will stick with the known brands for the time being.

    Thanks anyway for the link.

    I suppose at £65 it's worth a go.

Did you notice any difference between this one and the CR1 ?

The CR1 and Powerclik Red boxes behave differently as the PK is more progressive in the way it delivers the power. The CR1 gives more of a kick in the back sensation which makes it feel faster. I have tried them both for a long time on my car and this new box behaves exactly the same as the CR1. I have not tried it on my normal "test track" yet to see if it gets to the same figures as the others but i doubt it will be any different as it DOES feel very quick. My son commented last night that it seems quicker

As i said, for £65 give it a go. If you don't like it, return it to the seller. I did it with another type from Germany last year, refunded no problems. Or, stick it back on E-bay and get the money back that way.

EDIT: 2 minutes max to fit it. You dont need instructions m8, if you get one give me a shout and i'll talk you through it. It really is easy.

Thanks for that, I will place a bid now and see how it goes.

I feel a lot better that you have experienced other boxes and still rate this one.
Nothing beats experience and knowledge, both of which I lack at the moment.

Thank again for the link and advice

I was like you m8, i had taken my PK red box off as i thought i had been done for speeding a few weeks ago and after a little "chat" with she that must be obeyed, decided to sell it. I really missed the power difference and was going to go for one of the new "Spider" type boxes but as they are over £300 i thought what the heck. Got one of the cheap ones, plugged it in and i have'nt stopped smiling again
