    Default Adaptive Headlights

    Hi guys

I have seen other posts about the legality of using HID kits and this got me thinking.

Shouldnt it be possible to upgrade to Adaptive Headlights available on the Vectra C Facelift?

Does anyone know if this has been done or can it be done?

I had a set of HIDs in my last Vectra C Facelift (Design), looked great with the projectors.

    Cheers everyone

yes its been done ... yes its relatively expensive as it needs additional wiring and sensors along with the headlight units and potentially the CIM needs replacing too ...

I remember there was a washer option. If it is going to be an expensive job, then I have other priorities.

I've been looking to see if my Veccy has auto-leveling or not. Unsure at this stage, I have a 2.2 Direct Estate design 06 Plate.

Unless it already has AFL it won't mate. Easiest way way is to look at your headlight switch - if you can control it manually, then it's not automatic...

    Fair point.

I do want to do it legally, the washers is not an issue but the auto level will be interesting. I know there is two typs of leveling, suspension would be ideal for me. Would that satisfy the law?

Thanks Penfold, I know this has been hashed to death, dont want to get ****** by my insurance. If I'm going to do this, it will be done right. I'm also ex-mil.Police, and not very flexable!!

As an estate it migt have self leveling suspension (which also is suitable for HID installs). But you would know if you had this or not
