Can you make a diesel sound like a petrol?

The only thing I miss with my cdti is the sound. Basically is there anything that will give it any grunt? Perhaps a closed induction kit or de-cat?

Nope if you have a diesel, it's the sound of the farmyard you have to put up with.

Or you could look for one of those daft gimmicks on the internet to 'apparently' cure your problem.

Decat it and fit a straight through exhaust, it won't sound like a petrol.....it'll sound better than a petrol
