    Exclamation edition 100 tuning tips

    Its my first day and my first post on this luvly website so be gentle with me!!

    i have a luvly sri t but would like a bit more oomph out of the old girl, does any body have any ideas or past mods that they can pass on.
    was considering a remap, does any body have any experiences ( good or bad!!) how much does it cost and what can i expect to get out of it

    This thread should hopefully your questions. There may be other products available for the 2.0T, but the BSR one works fantastically well for me!

    cheers for the link, will i notice any improvement if i fit a modified air filter/induction system, if yes which can you reccomend and how much

    If you're meaning with the BSR product then I'd say No (or not to do it). The BSR remap is based on the standard engine and the air flows etc that go along with that. If you start to alter that you may find that the remap doesn't work as well or may cause you more serious problems.

    just had a quote from angel tuning.com of £300 quid all in to get another 40 bhp!!! dont think thats bad at all.

    £300/40 = £7.50 per 1bhp

    Sounds good. What exactly are they doing for that? Is that a once-off remap? i.e. they remap it and that's it, it's permanently in there?
