Default Elite Estate Rear Heated Screen

I have the problem of the bottom 4 lines of heated screen have gaps in them caused by the original Dealership who used it as a demonstrator putting one of their stickers at the bottom of the screen. This had been removed when I bought it from a On-line trader who purchased all of their ex demonstrators.

I was going to get tints fitted but.

    1) I have one of the repair sticks but they are silver in colour not brown/gold coloured so it will look naff.

    2) How much is a SRI tinted heated rear screen is there a part number?

    3) Does the same £85 up front payment have to be paid if I claim on
    insurance.

Will Auto Windscreens or equivelant supply a SRI tinted screen rather then
the one fitted to the car.

On the wifes siggy they did supply a front screen with the green/blue sunshade on it with no problem.

You can't claim on the insurance unless the screen breaks - they don't cover damaged heating elements. I'm sure someone will pop up soon to say "put a brick thru it mate an the insurance will never know", but that's insurance fraud.

if your tinting it you wont tell the difference between the repair stick and what is already there.

You can get a repair liquid type stuff which you can use to repair the damage to your heater elements.

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Electro-Conn.../dp/B002WC4XSE

You can also get a kit from your local Vauxhall dealer (which I would recommend as speeding.co.uk who supply the above kit are shocking to deal with).
