Can anyone advise from personal experience the best tyres for this model?
Could you tell me the best brand tyre, and the best economy tyre - if any of you use them.
    Thanks boyz

Not sure what size you've got, but I run Uniroyal Rainsport 2's (225/45/17 - which is the alternate and cheaper size for the 215/50/17) The Rainsport2 is the best tyre I've ever had on a car. Seem to be a sod to get balanced properly though. Going back in tomorrow for a 3rd attempt.

What Big Dave said; I've bought a couple of pairs now and have them fitted front and rear on my car, and they seem to have balanced up perfectly (I watched as they were balanced.)

I get mine from http://www.camskill.co.uk/ and get them fitted locally, as it is (a lot) cheaper than ordering them in via the tyre fitter.

There is also now a Rainsport 3 but I haven't tried those yet.

Kumho KU31 is a really good tyre. For me usually lasts for 25-30000 miles. Performance is just great; quiet, lots of grip, well behave in wet conditions. Usually order them form mytyres.co.uk - quite low prices in comparison to other places, and these include delivery cost.
