Default Pics of my newly fitted VXR diffuser

I painted and fitted this myself, and am really pleased with how it looks. I am booked in at Longlife Exhausts on the 4th of July, so I thought I'd make this change ready for the VXR tailpipes I'm going to get.

I like it in Black, it gives a nice contrast and looks abit more mean than colour coded, nice one

Thanks! Yeah I'm very new to making any changes to my car so was very anxious about taking off something the car needed. Once you get it off at one end by simply pulling, take your time and just hold the bumper with one hand and pull the diffuser in the other. Each little rivet will just pull out. When putting new one on, hold bumper again once it's roughly been slotted into place and bang in the new diffuser one clip at a time with the palm of your hand. Sounds very amateur which I'm sure it is, but it worked for me. Job done in about 25 minutes - with hesitation.
As far as spraying goes, Jezzy has recently posted a very helpful post on the process. All the paint i used was from halfords or eBay. Had about five coats of black mat paint, then four coats of the clear spray on. I only sanded between coats in the locations that looked too thick or uneven, but if you do quick flowing bursts when applying each coat you should get very little build up of paint where you don't want it.
It's been great doing all the mods myself so far, other than the remap lol.
Glad it's helped pursued others to do the same. Good luck!
