    Default GSi economy , not bad !

    done an economy test on the GSi and for my £30 of unleaded i got 128 miles , which works out at 26 mpg ! not bad considering there were quite a few blasts in that test

    That's good but I prefer my 47mpg at present

    thats what my mate in his ST mondy derv says but he never shuts up about the noise and go that the GSi has when he's in it !

    it certainly seems decent enough on fuel if i drive steady , i'm getting a re-map next week but theres some scarey reading on here about bore wash ! WTF ??

    who are you getting a re map with? from what I have been told you need to be very careful

    They arent the worst in the world, mines is currently averaging 30.4mpg still not as good as my my SRi, but hey, it wasnt bought for economy.

    a chap called Phil from ECOPOWER in Doncaster , a mate of mine had mis mondeo done with him and its very impressive , its fully guaranteed and 14 day money back too , if i get it mapped then take it to my mates test station , will an emmisions test show any fueling issues ?

    my test had quite a few good blasts in it so i expect if i drive the car how i normally do i will see an even better average but as you say i didnt buy it for its economy

    I had my gsi mapped about 9month ago and so far so good. Not had any problems yet and passed its mot in april no problem
