    Default CIM Plug

The CIM plug inside the car when you remove the cowling to clean it, do you have to disconnect the battery ?

    Cruise Control wont engage properly

I can't say if it's definitely required but since it's involving something connected to the airbags. I'd disconnect personally.

I'd also remove the stalk from the cim and clean the contacts between them. I'm convinced this was the problem I suffered when my CC acted up.

PS if you need a replacement CIM, I have one for sale

No you don't (well I didn't on Sunday). I cleaned it with super solve, plugged it in wet a few times to clean the contacts on the socket side and it's solved nothing!!! May work in your case.

Cruise Control issues will probably be the spring on the clutch return, plenty of write ups about it on here but first try pulling the clutch up from it's rest position with your foot, see if that gets it working.

Cleaned the contacts on the bottom of the stalk last night but didnt work again this morning, so now i will get some contact cleaner for the actual buttons and have a go at that.

Then the plug on the CIM itself ,then spring mod..... then set the thing alight if all that dont work
