Default Family friendly places to visit?

Heading down south next week, we are basing ourselves in MK for a week or so. Now we're planning days out with the kids and I've looked at all the usual suspects of places like legoland and london zoo etc. We will prob visit there places but I'm after some inspiration from you guys as there are bound to be other excellent places/sites to visit that will be good for a couple of toddlers and keep us occupied too but my head doesn't seem to be working this week!?

    cheers guys

Wicksteed Park just up the road from MK , pretty good day out, lots of things for toddlers there too, including a fantastic adventure playground to let the kids go mental..

    Cheers guys

We have scrapped the visit to London, too much hassle with a couple of toddlers, so we will be definately be visiting whipsnade as i enjoyed it the last time i was there about 20yrs ago also looking at Stowe gardens to allow the kiddies to go daft for a few hrs..

Will probably head to Billing on saturday or sunday and say hello

Woburn safari park is a great family day out. It's expensive to get into, but once you're in you can drive round the whole thing as many times as you like and there's a large section at the end to walk round, have food, etc with loads more animals in it.

My kids love it. Cost me £50 last time I went just me and the the two kids.

Compared to other places Ian that seems quite cheap, legoland is around £140 for the day!

Firing the tent in the car in case we come along to billing but with 2 wee kids it might be hard work!
