just had a new clutch done 2 months ago now my clutch is sliping again( 2000 miles) . took it back to the garage and was told it was because of my flywheel was worn low . so now i got to get a new clutch and flywheel fitted ? not happy

unfortunately when doing the clutch you should always do the dmf at the same time
garage should of advised as said above- everything I've read says change both clutch and flywheel if one of them goes and change the concentric slave cylinder too. sometimes saving money short term ends up costing more than you can imagine. did they not advise the complete kit chsnge first time round?? was it the same garage?? if so they'd have known you'd be back...........
Is this covered by the Vaux Warranty if the car is under 3 years old? The reason i am asking is, that i think mine is slipping as well:-(
My missus learnt the hard way. Changed the rattly DMF, and 800 miles later, the clutch plate literally shattered when she was driving!
cant see ehy you will ned a new clutch tho
MY clutch is slipping and I have entered the land of the DM flywheel,I can't get this if I want a clutch plate renewing Why does the flywheel as well cos your talking big money as soon as you talk Vectra clutch,, out the woodwork come the flywheel virus al with £ signs flashing I don't gerritt .
