Is there any tasty BTCC parts you could add? Being careful not to errode what is already a stunningly perfect car?

Im suprised nobody has been brave enought to fit a BTCC front bumper yet? Like how they have done with vectra Bs in the past...

Another idea? Roll cage... powder coated in a really strong colour? or chrome?

Well.. I have actually considered the full BTCC body kit, wide arches and extended wheels. But keep the car in Saphire Black.

However, it creates a load of problems.

The front bumper is fibreglass (I actually owned the Giovanardi front BTCC bumper for a while).. all the fixings are different and air intakes are different.

Here's the original thread from 2007

So... the way forward would be to get the BTCC wheel arches front and rear, then use the standard front bumper but get it modified to look like the BTCC one.

Extending the wheels outwards is the issue. It puts more strain on the driveshafts and I also wont then get my car in the garage.

But I did consider this seriously at one point, thought it would look very cool

Amazing... it doesnt surprise me that you had already investigated it to behonest! What with your old VXRD, the attention to detail and creating thins which look OE etc...

Have a look at the roll cage then!
