What kind off fishing some good places in scotland depending on if your bait or fly fishing but scottish fly fishing is different it is fishing without permit and not getting caught LOL no serious used to lure fish for pike on some good loch's and also there is some nice rivers for fly fishing up towards perth area and loch awe near in oban(take insect repellant as midge's are bad) is also good or sea fishing on some our piers is also good.

Get yerself over this way on the river Severn for some Barbel bashin'.

Hampton Loade is the place to hit. Fairly fast flowing, big heavy feeders with tiny halibut feed pellets and a 14mm pellet on a hair rig. Failing that, caster and hemp in a feeder or waggler fished will catch.

This is the stretch that features in Total Fishing with Matt hayes when he's fishing with Dave Harrel and catching some nice fish.
Think i paid about £5 for a day ticket last autumn.

Plenty of B&B's in the Bridgnorth and Bewdley areas.
There's also Boldings in Bridgnorth, Moorland Farm and Woodland View both just outside Kidderminster if you want commercial fishing.

Fil 4822 is spot on. The fishing in that area is spot on. My dad and I have a yearly outing there, 4 days, staying in the Golden Lion on the main street (Bridgnorth) and fishing Boldings/Poole Hall/Woodland View/Furnace Mill. There is some good river severn fishing to be had in the town too, and its free if I remember right.

Forgot about Furnace Mill. theres Larford aswell just outside Stourport. Both places that are regularly featured on Total Fishing.
Free fishing at Bridgnorth, upstream right bank and down stream left bank. You gotta be there early though as the best /comfy swims go quickly !
