And specifically about undoing the top nut on each strut:
I have got to do this this weekend and never done Veccy/Siggy springs before, so I want to be prepared.
There are a number of methods people seem to use to undo the top nut of each strut, which appears to be screwed onto a rod that has a female Torx head.
2 questions:
1) Am I right in assuming that the the Torx head on the rod is to simply stop the rod from turning when you do up/undo the nut ?
2) In which case how can you get torque wrench on at same time as Torx bit to torque it up ?
Sorry if these seem dumb questions but I hate not knowing, especially when car is in bits and you're in a swearing frenzy !
