    Default oilfilter socket

    getting ready to do an oil change in near future and wondering what size of socket do i need to change the oil filter for a 2007. 1.8 vec .Is it 32mm.Many thanks.

    32mm on the 2.2 and 2.0T petrols, so probably same on yours.

    32 mm on most vaux except the 2.0 DTI and 2.2 DTI`s that used 36 mm. (thier may have been others that used 36 but 32 is far more common)

    24mm socket for oil filter and 45mm torx key/socket for the sump plug on the 1.8 vvti.

    Did mine tonight.
