    Default Help needed

    Does anybody in the Southampton area fancy giving myself and Lizard a hand next Saturday to fit 314mm and 292mm brakes to both of our cars (Clives are much prettier than mine but he has taken 2 years mines been a couple of weeks) I will also hopefully fitting my TPMS receivers and rear wiring loom and giving my exhaust a quick tweek to extend the tips out the back a little father.

    Cheers Nige I'll speak to Clive it maybe we do one between us on Saturday and the other on Sunday, Clives might be a bigger job as he wants to replace the flexi hoses and the rear backplates which means hubs off

    I changed the hoses when i did my fronts, backs were alreadly 292 but i chnaged the hoses on them too.

    I didn't bother changing the hoses when I did mine, not least because clamping the hose at the caliper end was my method for stopping all the fluid coming out. If you're removing the flexi hose, where do you put the clamp?

    didn't bother with clamps, just kept the reservoir topped up and let it drip out, as you will know its a quick job to change the hoses anyway so you do not loose much. Also as stated its a good time for a full brake oil flush..
