confused Travel Assistant for Signum 2.8

    Hi everyone,
I bought a travel assistant for my Signum from ebay.
I found out the vauxhall schematic for the TA is C50-1.
Even though my signum is the elite it did not come with the connecting parts in the back for the TA. I ordered the parts from St Leonard's Motors ltd when I was down there and they arrived about 10 days later. It cost me about £30 +vat for the parts and £80 + vat to fit.

    The parts no.s are :
    93160952 .........411307/harness x1
    13157406 ......... screw x4
    13156257 ......... bush x4
    11097141 ......... torx screw x2
    11094425 ......... nut x2
    13143574 ......... cover plate, anthracite
    and one 15amp fuse

The hardest bit has been done now as far as I'm concerned.
The trouble is, how long must I wait for the fridge to start cooling down?
I went for a 1 hr drive the other day and the thermometer I placed inside the fridge stayed the same.
It would be a shame if the fridge is faulty.
Before anyone asks, yes I did check the fuses in the back and I did turn the switch on inside the fridge.
Has anyone else had any problems with it ?

I simply asked and got the schematic (C50-1) printed for me by my local vauxhall dealer. Ordered and paid for the required parts.
They are available, they just have to be specially ordered in for Germany.
Maybe some dealers can't be arsed doing it.

The fitting kit is one number.

The parts that make up the kit must be the above parts.

When you turn it on can you hear the fan going inside? It should be audible. If not, do a voltage check to make sure it's getting power at the socket where it plugs in..

Yeah the fan is running. How long would it take for it to be cooler inside ?
On another thread I was told to put something in it first. I'm starting to think it probably acts more like an cool bag rather than a fridge.
