Options for passenger door controls?

Evening all

After purchasing some switches from Bigmac (Thanks again m8) im embarking on what will be the longest project I have undertaken so far. Full LED interior conversion.

Before I start I need to know what if any options I have for the passenger controls as my switch needs to be replaced as it looks very worn.



My Vec is an 06 1.8 VVT Nav SRI. Do I have any upgrade paths so that the passenger has more control over the front leccy windows / door locking etc or is this as good as it gets?

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Possibly an older type door switch, alter the wiring and reconfigure the PDM to suit maybe?

My preface has locking control and boot control on passenger side? And its standard so would look OK.

Or would a driver side switch panel fit there so it can control the drivers window (and rears if fitted?)

The spare drivers door controls fit nicely.



However the wiring / connectors are not even similar (not suprising really)





I think I need some help from a member with an Elite Facelift model to show me what they have. That would at least give me an idea as to what I can potentional put in.

Plasma. Im hoping not to have to rewire but look for a plug and pray replacement. Again if possible .... If not then I will just get a standard replacement switch to work on.

Dont understand what your trying to do?

The switch itself will come out of the worn surround so you can just replace the surround.

Might even be able to get the surround from Vauxhall

As the switch was looking rough I thought this would be a good time to see if I could replace it with an item with some more options on it.

I didn't know your could just replace the surround mind you which could be an option.

I would still like to see if a switch with more options could be added without too much difficulty.

EDIT : Which would then have the led's replaced for Blue items

I think the most you can hope for is door and possibly boot lock buttons but as Plasma said the passenger door module would almost certainly need reprogramming or replacing and maybe a new door loom.

It looks like it could be a bit of hassle changing from what I have now.

I shall just inquire about a new surrond from the VX Dealers.
