New Scottish Signum Owner

Hi All,

NewB here! Just bought myself a 2006 Signum 2.8V6T - off this morning to give the government £460 for a tax disc then I'm off to pick it up and take it a good long drive

I've been hanging about the forum for a wee while, soaking up the advice and reading lots about the Signum before I bought one so I thought I better say hi. Lots of good advice on here and it seems to be a pretty active forum so I'm looking forward to some banter with y'all!

Cheers for that, It's not too bad, a few we blemishes here and there but pretty decent all round.

First thing to do is get these blemishes sorted out (the odd stone chip here and there) then I need to source a travel assistant then I quite fancy modding the dash LEDs, then probably some irmscher bits (grille etc) then I'll start to think about performance mods.

Can't wait to pick it up now, just waiting on getting a lift.

It has a 1999 , T reg plate on your 2006 signum .

You could sell the private plate to put some money towards your £ 460 tax money ..

When i last put my private plate on a retention certificate , it cost me £ 105 ... ( of which £ 80 is the transfer fee to the next vehicle , and i think the other £ 25 is to put it back in your name on paper )

If you do this , you are assigned ( free ) the original 2006 plate back to you that was registered with the car when new . ( usually , if not it will be another 2006 plate )

So to cash in you'd have to make over £ 105 when selling T6 JGG .

wellcome nice car all the toys being an elite aswell were about in scotland are you
