you gotta remember he isnt actually a blue, hes just worked there for 4 years, he probably has little loalty to them having just resigned and up sticks and left, so lets judge him after a few games and signings

he comes from the west end of glasgow same area as fergie, was fergie,s skipper at aberdeen, took over the team fergie played for, fergie has already jumped to his defence, bit of a pattern forming so maybe the villa board thinks a bit of the fergie magic will rub off onto him

It all boils down to money in the game today. So really if a club ain't got loads of cash to spend on the big name players then the Manager is at a disadvantage from the very first whistle. However A good Manager can get his players to pull together and make a good solid side and hope to stay mid table, and hopfully over the years build a winning team through up and comming talent. We all know as soon as the up and comming talent make a name they are sold off for profit to the clubs with the cash....The top clubs.....!
The more cash the better you do......IMO

No matter who ever got the Managers job at Villa nothing will really change.

As a Manager in top flight football and your team goes belly up. All that happens to you is you get ££££££millions not to manage that side (Get Sacked). Have a 12 month off then get signd for another club for ££££££££milions. and the cycle starts again.

Football is the only business where you get a reward for being rubbish at your job.......Get me an applicatipon form!

Villa have landed a great manager. This guy was Scotland manager when we beat France in Paris how often do Scotland get a win like that lol.

Put all the rivalry a side because it means nothing its only a game.

Being a West Brom fan, its so nice sitting back and watching everyone else moan about their clubs troubles and strife, although these plenty of time for it to start going t1ts up here !

Seems the Blues fans have said "OK" he's gone so we move on looking for a replacement. It's the Vile fans that are up in arms about the appointment !

All i can say is ..... BOING - BOING !

Have consideration for the deaf, if you're gunna fart, make it smell !
