VVOC Rolling Road meet @ GotBoost - 14/8/2011

Just a quick one to let you know about the next VVOC regional meet for South Wales, which will be held at GotBoost in Bridgend. I have copied and pasted the original post from VVOC.

"Right then guys, following on from our discussion in the other thread, I have now made a booking for a rolling road session:

Meet @ 9.30am, first car on the rollers @ 10.00am

The following is taken from the GotBoost FAQ sheet:

"Our dyno is a 2wd 500 version capable of testing over 1200hp at the wheels, and housed in a custom dyno cell with dedicated extraction system and 18bhp of vehicle cooling delivering a contact 70mph wind speed, allowing us to test very high HP vehicles continuously without issues."

The setup is as follows:

Each car will be given 2 power runs back to back, after a warmup and calibration period. BHP and torque figures are given at the wheels, so you will see the useable power put down onto the road that your car is producing. Air to Fuel Ratio readings are also given, showing how well your car is running in addition to the power and torque figures produced.

Prices are as follows:

5-10 cars: £40 each
10-20 cars: £35 each
20-30 cars: £30 each

So as you can see, the more cars we get the better the price for us. I have to pay a deposit to GotBoost 2 weeks before the session, so will be taking a £10 deposit from everyone, and will collect the remaining money on the day of the session.

Exactly i've done the airbox mod and duel exit stainless steel pipes it feels better than before would be nice to know what she is pushing out now!!

Yes mate, moved to a unit in Bridgend now.

I've added names from here to the VVOC list. I'll be in touch about payment of deposits.
