grinding noise coming from rear wheels

Hi everyone hope someone can help. Theres a grinding noise coming from the rear wheels when applying the brakes but the noise only starts as the car is coming to a halt. First thing is the pads are nearly new from vx and when jacked up the wheel moves freely any ideas

Is it always there mate or just when you initially use the car for the first 10-15 mins of brake use

Have you checked there are no stones or anything between pads and discs ?
Did you use copper grease on the piston when changing the pads ??

Seems to be after about 15 mins of driving but its only as the car is stopping

Also when u apply the brake it as tho the pads need changing but the discs and pads are practically new then when u take your foot off the brake the pads are grinding on the discs and the fater u go then quicker the noise its as tho the pads are not realsing from the disc. Need help please guys
