fogs to interior light

i retro fited some fog lights to my car some time back but ive brought some smd fog lights now (bulbs) i know the fault light wont come on because ive retro fitted them my question is i want the fogs to come on when i unlock the car so im thinking about wireing them to the interior light

wich wire would i need to conect it up?

haveing fogs on with out there being fog will get you pulled as it ent allowed and ill fine you £60 if seen agen..........there words not mine lol.....just saying is all

im not going to be driving the car with the fog on, i want them to come on when i unlock the car i understand everytime somebody opens the door they will come on but thats not a problem

im sure i emailed them before aint it just for the vectra b? might be wrong if i am think ill go down this route

No, my last car was an Astra G.

Also he lists Astra H on his site, which will be the same as a Vectra C/Signum.

Only problem with wiring them to the interior lights that I can see, is unless you fit diodes into the feed you take from it then it will also work in reverse, when you switch on your fog lights the interior lights will also come on (assuming you've got a seperate feed to your fogs and can switch them on manually of course).

or you can drill and fit an additional lamp and holder into the foglight assembly

Of course it also means you can't use your interior lights while driving along at night because every time you do you'll be flashing your fog lights at other drivers.
