    Default Parking Sensors on Facelift

    Hi

Jut after a bit of information really regarding fitting rear parking sensors to the rear of a facelift veccy hatch!

I've done a search and read a few threads where people are getting the live feed to the sensors from the reverse light wire (although all the ones that seem to have done this have pre facelift). I'm just wondering can I do this on my 2007 SRI, as I know from my astra tapping things like reverse camera into the canbus loom causes issues!

    Cheers

    Dave

Just did mine last night, easy job - took about an hour or so to do. Masking tape on bumper, measure and mark for holes then drill carefully. Feed wires in through a grommet after drilling a hole in boot and tidy wires away with cable ties and Black tape. Scotchlocked into feed to reversing light (I know scotchlocks are not ideal) and works really well. £16 kit off ebay Looks like a factory job.

Did much the same with my 08, got to get around to colour coding the sensors, but took live and earth from rear light cluster, no probs with canbus.
