    don't know what they got so upset about
    because some of the film crew were wearing ties, it sounded like just some silly dress code issue, lol

    can't see what harm they were doing, oh well worse things have happened there no doubt.

    Nothing to do with dress code issues....

    Wearing ties and having long sleeved shirts on with the cuffs done up isn't allowed in some wards/hospitals, because the fabric comes into contact with hundreds of different surfaces throughout the day and thus spreads infections about, such as MRSA. That's why Cameron and Clegg always have their ties off or tucked into their shirts, and their sleeves rolled up when they've visited hospital wards to promote their NHS changes. That's also why the surgeon himself was wearing a short sleeved shirt and a bow tie instead of a long tie.

    The surgeon had a very good point - all the politicians in front of the camera adhered to the correct code, and all the advisers off camera didn't - because they only cared about what the public were going to see on camera, not the reality.
