    Default Vxr rear twin exhaust insert.

    Hi all.

    im looking at putting twin vxr exhausts on my veccy. i will be replacing the sri exhaust insert with the twin vxr one. Has anyone done this change if so what problems could i come up against...i have sri bumper with factory fitted vxr apron...thanks.....

    I got the garage to fit my vxr insert when fitting the exhaust m8 and the fitter said this was easier to do than cut the sri one and didn't charge any extra to do.

    I had the opposite to you Marc. I've got the VXR rear spoiler fitted to my car and I took my insert to a Vauxhall bodyshop to fit and they struggled like hell

    It was the Fife autocentre i used and they were pretty good, as got longlife exhaust fitted with vxr tips.

    I fitted my VXR insert with the xp skirt attached, was a bit of a ball buster, but got there in the end!

    I did the same as Ray. It's hard work but possible without removing the skirt.

    Have to admit, removing the SRi insert was a pain, in fact it got ripped off in the end. The VXR insert had to be man handled into place, but start at one end and work your way round as they are just clips.
