Mods ?

Hi All,

First Of All Great Forum, Very Helpful Advice, Tips And Tricks !

I have a vectra 1.9cdti 120bhp on an 07 plate.

Im looking for any helpful mods i can do to improve my car in general and to reduce any future expensive problems occuring.

I have already blanked off my egr valve and have also done the air box mod which already i have noticed has helped.

Are there any others with clear explanations on how to complete ?

Springs - if they are broken come next MOT, go for aftermarket ones. Also, you may want to look at shock absorbers too.

Re mapped to take it to 150 bhp the list is endless with modding, what do you like the look or performance etc?

Chnaging the alloy wheels can make the car look a lot better. Also, what about Vauxhall spoilers/front splitter/side skirts? If you did these two and changed the suspension, the car will look like it has more road presence.

Have you got any pictures?

If you have 1.9CDTi 16v, then you can get the car remapped and you could see results of 185-200bhp. If not, then results could be from 160-175bhp. HTH

At the moment my car is completly standard except for the air box mod being done and ive also blanked off the egr valve.
I like the idea of upgrading my lights with HID kits but am put off with the fact they can flicker, I would also like to get it remapped but am unsure where is best to go to have this done along with just what the expense of this would be. is there a site that anyone can recommend for spoilers, side skirts etc etc ? Is there a how to thread on here regarding mods ? im looking mainly for performance and have heard you can remove your rear box on the exhaust and just run a pipe from the middle to the rear to increase performance and also make it sound better ??

Can you recommend a kit ? i want the brightest possible as i do a lot of night driving and like to see where im going

Do i need cancellers ? i read this somewhere but am not clear on what they are and what they do

speak to Carmodshop, they will sort you a top kit for about £63

if you want SUPER bright then get 50W, I have 35W and are more than up to the job and are a 300% improvement on the standard lights. I have 6000k (very white) but if you get the xenon match then you want 4750k which will also be brighter than 6000k.

Kit should have cancellors inbuilt

(I think only HIDS DIRECT do 50W kits)
