Boot hard to close

Just after abit of advice really.

If done a quick search and found the following, but didnt really get much from it;

When closing the boot (Vec C Hatch) I really have to put some force on it so it latches shut, I know they require some force, but this just feels unhealthy!

hi
have you tried adjusting the two rubber stops on the hatch part.
had to do this some time ago.
you have to remove them to adjust.
it does take a while to get them right.

them two rubber stoppers are a right royal PITA!.

i broke mine trying to adjust them so i replaced them with ford ones that are a billion times easier to adjust.

yep i know
can't see why they made them like that.
would be easyer and cheaper to add a screw type stopper

the ford one is a screw type and it fits perfectly after a slight modification.

Im getting a tad annoyed with the rattling/metalic noise from my boot lock area..after being driven around with me in the boot I can see movement in the lock which i think is causing the noise...anyone willing to give a pointer to what these things look like and how to get them?...maybe even a price..
