Default 3.2 timing belt & water pump prices.

so i cant delay my belt any longer sitting at 75k and i think its original so been and priced up a few dif quotes at garages today.

now the price from dingbro is 220 odd quid for the belt and pump where as d&a is 100 quid cheaper im assumeing its the wrong kit.

fiskins quoted me with the water pump and aux belt £700 odd. witch is way above what i can rake in. would i be able to get a discount from them with being a member? they are a vx garage.

but found a nice little garage in arbroath witch will do it for 510inc vat if the part comes from dingbro or 400inc if from d&a. seems not to bad i think.

just wondered what your opinions are cheers, Tim

Post up the part numbers (from Vx quote perhaps) and I'll see if they're covered by TC.

You know the water pump isn't driven by the timing belt right? Although its very difficult to change it without removing the belt at a later date.
Now I need a turbo to keep up!

Sweet, just spoke to my little backstreet garage and he will fit my parts but will offer no warranty. Fair enough I suppose. I know I'm penny pinching when I really should nae be but has to be this way hope it don't come back to smack me in the face. So kit from sir Arnold and pump from Vx world parts I think.
