    Default insignia washer jets

    just bought off fleabay, nit of an impulse buy, didnt really think about it until i hit 'pay now'. anyway, will these straight swap to my 06 sri facelift? i bloomin hope so now theyre enroute.

    you can buy a special 'tool' on ebay or vx dealers for adjusting them or you can cut the lid of a biro pen into an 'X' which will do the same job

    Fitting is a straight swap as already said. The best tip is to pour hot water on the hose at the joint point - this will soften the hose which will easily come off then.
    Once fitted, I found mine to be fine for line, it was only height that needed adjusting. Again, the hot water helps and then I CAREFULLY used a pair of long nosed pliers to ease the jet up slightly.
    And then when you're all finished count on refilling the washer fluid rather more frequently for the first couple of weeks as you'll be playing a lot due to way better coverage than the old V jets.

    I'll second the hot water idea, mine were a ***** til i did this! And they do a much better job of "scooshing" than the standard ones!

    i fitted them took me all of 5 mins, came with a free tool as well

    i bought some of these when i made the mistake of buying a zafira, and never fitted them. might be time to dig them out again if i can remember where i put them lol
