    Default Pad Prep

Weather permitting, i'm hoping to get round to using my DA this week. Had it 2 months now and not had chance to use it.

Thanks to the Shb and Ginge i've got some tips on using the DA, however not sure about the pads. Do they need prepping before use or will a squirt of megs quik detailer be ok?

Just give them a couple of squirts of water to prep them mate, then add your product and spread on the paint, after that you shouldn't need to spray with water, it's just the initial part of da'ing, just to prevent the pad/paint heating up and causing burns in the paintwork. Hth mate
