    Default New Alloys fitted

Needed two new tyres on the front of my car and as I was still running the original fat 5 spoke 16" items I started to look on Ebay at what I could get second hand for similar money (ie about £150-200)

Managed to get some multi-spoke wheels for a bargain price of £150

However the guy had them on his 2005 TDCI focus which I knew had the wrong PCD but he did state on his auction that they were originally fitted to an Omega so I took a chance. All four came with tyres with around 5-6mm of tread left as well!

    originals were 215 55 r16 and these are a rather fat 235 45 r17

    Before

    After

But they do need a full refurb which i'll do myself. So what do I go for?

    black?

    Anthracite?

    Or white?

I've seen some extra flake spray paint which will give more depth to the of whichever colour i go for

Cheers lads, the Mrs likes black as well. LOL that reads differently to what I was intending.

Forget to mention that they fit absolutely spot on. No rubbing from the extra width and the pcd 5x110 was stamped inside the rim!

    Much nicer wheels, dude.
    My opinon:
White - too motorsport. Which, on a standard family hatchback, in that colour, look crap.
Black - too bland and Jap - which, on a family hatchback, in that colour, look crap.
Anthracite (as in your pic) - look spot-on. Which, on a family hatchback in almost any colour look ****** great!
    Well, you did ask..........

I would go for anthracite from the colours above, but looking at the anthracite picture from different angles, it sort of looks like the colour of your car. Why not photoshop that green onto the alloys to see what they look like?

I tried that, really didn't look great but thanks

Anthracite's looking like the winner at the moment. Can anyone suggest a paint code? Audi do some nice anthracite type colours...
