Default 2.2 direct struggling over 3500rpm

Hi guys sorry if some off you are getting fed up off my continued updates.
my car no longer has spanner light and no longer in limp mode. however it does hesitate between 3500-4000rpm i can go higher but only when extremely gentle with throttle. broke a jubilee clip off earlier where air intake meets throttle body and need to change spark plugs. I couldn't get it out of limp mode and turn the spanner light off for over 2 weeks but sprayed some 10k powerboost through earlier and reset spanner light. been out for 10 mile drive and car just has no power over 3500rpm but pick up and drive still good under. rough idle has gone and splutter from exhaust is only just still there.
car has never cut out so not sure if high pressure fuel pump. will update when fitted new plugs and got a new jubilee clip on.

not been to stealers yet. probably wont now that benny and few others in different threads point to the fuel pump. was looking at one on fleabay today which had 1 hour to go and 1 bid at £100 for a continental one but then friend came round and missed out on that one. ******!! will keep you updated gonna at least get new sparks and jubilee clip sorted this week. just got to keep using my wifes new KA which is a horrible drive but SO economic and she's cycling now which is another bonus as she's back in her size 10's

Why keep throwing money at it, what if it isn't the pump?

my pump is an old siemens one so would prefer a new continental pump for piece of mind so far only spent 15 quid on spray, too many horror stories about stealers replacing numerous parts to find the fault. If i add them then will be saving and no bill from them to tell me that there computer doesnt pick up any codes either.
