hello there,i'm new to this site,and i do have a problem with my vectra.this mornig the spanner light came on,and the car doesnt have any power on accelaration,it starts,drives.

Clutching at straws as it could be any number of things from EGR,Boost sensor,Split turbo pipes

Best to open bonnet when car is started and check for any splits in pipes if you can't find nothing my best advise would be to get code read ASAP this will hopefully save you time and money so we don't have to rely on guess work.

try turning off then back on when engine running it turns mine off for a bit had my opcom plugged in and it came up with egr valve

Hell,i had it on tester and it came with the EGR valve code.Can i clean it?If yes,how?I know the best thing is to replace it.Thank u

it can be cleaned ut i'd say your just delaying the inevitable ! fit a new one , shouldn't be that dear these days !? oh , and check your vac pipes before your shell out on one
