    confused engine cut out!

picked up my lovely 08 1.9 sri.decided to wash her near my home.pulled into one of those hand car washes.washing complete, drove a few more miles.when i went to turn into my estate the car just cut out, with total loss of power.no display either.the radio was still working though, so i know its probably not the battery.turned off the car, then turnded it back on again and it started fine.just wondered if anyone else had come across this problem? wondered if it might be a connection problem ie after jet washing.

think i have found the issue.when i picked up my car,the dealer gave me a lovely leather vx keyring.as i turned the same corner on my estate today cut out again.turned out the keyring was fouling on the steering wheel, turning the car off.glad i didnt take it back to the dealer.would have felt like a right muppet!
