Thread: Put some 2stroke in my diesel today...what results should I expect?

    Exclamation Put some 2stroke in my diesel today...what results should I expect?

    so not sure how old the fuel pump is on my car and I want to prolong the life as much as possible because if that goes...........the car goes! lol

    what sort of results would you suggest i see though? and timescales.....

    Most people say they notice the engine running quieter and smoother at idle, how much you put in will determine how drastic a difference you see but I only noticed a slight difference when I put a half a litre in a full tank of diesel...

    And I think that was a bit of a placebo to be honest...

    I put 300ml of two-stroke in a full tank, every 3 fill-ups.

    It's quieter, smoother, not as smokey, seems to pull away quicker, and more economical.

    If I go, say, 4 or five tank-fulls without using it, I notice the difference (quieter) when I add some again.

    I think thats the idea, lubricates the very expensive fuel pump lol
