dvd player

hi folks got a ripspeed dvd player but can not get it to turn on.have tried all sort .. i have put a different cd out of the wifes car in there and that plays fine. any help would be good..

Check the fuse on the back of DVD player mate

changed that mate its ok .also looked at fuses in the car but they ok and anouther cd player works ???????

anouther question how to you see if a cd/dvd player is working when its not pluged into the car???

oh right ok pal, my old man had a nightmare with his not playing dvd's etc something to do with the unit switching region and there is a long winded way through all the options so you can get them to play dvd's whilst drivingas they only play whilst the handbrake was on.

if you are using standard iso plug just try and match the connections from car to stereo just to make sure for some random reason you have not got live going to neg etc, just a thought pal
