Default Unipart 5/30 Fully Synthetic, cheap but any good?

Jusy been dragged to a shop called the range by the missus and noticed they had some Unipart 5/30 Fully synthetic for £18 for 5L. Only reason i didn't buy any is that i'd never heard of it and it didn't state any GM requirements on the bottle only said, 'API SL/CF ACEA A1/B1/A5/B5', This mean anything to anyone?

Did a quick search on google and apparently its a rebranded version of fuchs titan oils which are supposed to be very good.

So question is will this be any good for my Z20NET?

it is a good oil,, but I would go into a VX dealer, I got dexos2 fully synth filter and sump seal under 22 quid.

    API SL/CF ACEA A1/B1/A5/B5
That does actually meet GM-LL, looks like they just haven't bothered listing all the manufacturer specifications

Take it the £22 you paid was with trade card?

A5 for petrol & B5 for diesel would be high spec! the low end spec being A1/B1. You would usually expect for diesels B3/B4 so B5 is high spec usually found in more expensive fully synthetic oils.

I do not have a trade card, but asked for trade price and they gave it to me perhaps I was just lucky,

Unipart is good stuff and the spec's confirm that as others have commented also, I am one who has also bought and used AC Delco branded fully synthetic in my car especially in the Saab it was a great price at the local factor's Q parts in Irvine.
