Just out of curiosity does anyone know what all the button do down the side of the cd player?
When I pull out the blanks I notice that pretty much all of them have the wiring and sockets so just wondering what they do?
Cheers

Top Left/Right - Heated Seat On/Off and Temp
Left Middle - Hazzard Lights (but i guess you figured that one out!)
Bottom Left - Park Pilot (Parking Sensors On/Off)
Right No2 - Alarm Sensors
Right No3 - Traction Control
Right No4 - Electronic Stability Control
I think this is the correct order... but i stand to be corrected.
Full centre console :
Seat front heating [left and right]
Park Pilot [left]
Anti Theft Alarm System (for canceling interior monitoring) [right]
ESP (deactivate TC) [right]
SPORT (activate SPORT mode) [right] / At Sedan cars and without sport function, this can be for rear sunshade up/down.

Fully appreciate this is an old thread and probably this comment wont be read haha but,i i were to get the buttons to fill the space the blanks do is all the wiring and modules already inplace or would i need to replace wiring looms and tech2 for these systems to work? I have an sri (almost put sti haha) the only button i have is the theft sensors, wanna get a bit more out of the motor though
you can certainly add the SPORT button, with the addition of a CDC unit, a couple of wires, and a spot of programming.

If it helps here’s a picture of my centre console with all the buttons in. Sorry the sun was shining into the camera when I tried to photograph it.
If you've got the plugs behind the blanks, then if you buy the switches from eBay (or on here if someone’s selling some) then at the least, they should light up when the lights are turned on. The cdc mobile (with the sport button) isn’t that bad to wire up, although fiddly. Depending on what pump and other bits you have, the TC button might work when you plug it in as well.
