    Default sump plug

    could any 1 help me im doin a oil change today on my face-lift vectra 2.2 sri and was wonderin if the sump plug is hex head or torx and what size. thanks

    It will be a Torx, can't remember what size tho (T25 rings a bell).

    it is a TORX, Make sure you clean the hole out where the bit goes in, (I use WD40) USE A STRONT BIT, I use Halford professional bits, the bit goes in quite a long way make sure its in all the way lots of people have had problems because they F/U the sump plug ,also it is best to change the sump plug sealing ring, an oil change kit from a VX Dealer oil/filter/ seal, is cheaper than just buying the oil.

    i replaced mine for proper ones that you can put a proper socket on,

    You get both types - torx and hex, basically whatever GM had lying on the shelf the day the car was made.
