    Default Here we go again

1am, neighbours having usual drunken party in shed. Left it till 1am to try to put the dogs to bed, Wendy went out to let them do what they had to first, the muppet climbed his own 6ft fence to shout "you two are "f" ing spying on me again".
He's too drunk to spot that if he's climbed the 6ft fence to see what we're doing in our garden, it's not us doing the spying. Called police, they're very busy (well, it is Friday night/Saturday morning) before I go out with the 8 battery flashgun (good as a flashbang) and hockey stick, hand fire as they "might" be able to get a car to pass. Personally I think it's hockey time.
I also think he's grown a set because the council (landlords) say he can have access to put a proper high fence up wihtout us having a say. I want notice and witness or two, as I think it's a disaster waiting to happen.

Shame you cant do anything in your garden without abuse from this knob Ian. I just cant believe the police are constantly ignoring you on this matter.

Tell me about it. Last night they were drunk as usual in the building in photo.
We left it till 1am to put dogs away. Wendy went out with themwhile they had a run around. He climbed up the new piece he's nailed on and stood screaming "you're f ing spying on me again". I pointed out as he's climbed a 6ft fence to watch what we were doing in our garden it wasn't us spying, but he was too drunk to see it, just got more abuse.
Wendy rang police, despite me saying it was a waste of time. They said they had no officers available (well, ok, Friday night) but would refer it to the local policing team this morning. I commented across the room that didn't help us get the dogs to bed and I was off to look for an old hockey stick, they told Wendy to tell me I must not make threats against my neighbour as I'd be arrested .
Had an email from local PC today, all available oficers busy at carnival, no action to be taken, may be discussed if/when I report to the station to discuss my complaint against her "no police involement" email.
I'm beginning to think he has friend in higher places than I thought, and they've leaned on the police and Environmental Health.

next time it happens, fone police telling them 'somones breaking into my garden shed',your probable reply will be 'sorry we dont have any officers available'............ hang up

ring back 5mins later telling them its ok,i found my gun & shot the intruder

they will send every officer in ultra quick time

I would call and say you are locked in your house and fear for your safety for what he might do as he is continuing to hurl abuse and threats at you. Then ask for the officers number who is taking the call in case they don't turn up and you/wife/dogs get hurt so you can open a civil court case against them personally.

Not sure you can even do that but it might get some action.
Now I need a turbo to keep up!

I'm 57, little balance or stamina now, due to health issues. He's bigger than me with muscles on muscles.
If I did stop him, and it's possible, it would most likely be considered unreasonable force, as if he does cross the line (or fence) in a drunken rage, I reckon I have around 3 mins to stop him before he injures both of us.
Talk like this got the original thread closed, so best keep the thread peaceful.
Violence should be the last resort.
