    Default signum causes depression

ANYONE GOT A JERYCAN AND A BOX OF MATCHES??
3 grand in maintenance in 17 months.yes thats right, 3000 pounds sterling,or for those that are mathmatically gifted,£175 a month.
ITS DEPRESSING,awful, stressful, and shocking.never mind how much i've spent and lost as it happens from the car being of the road as its a taxi.
How can a major uk car manufacturer build cars of such poor quality.
example 1.plastic flaps on an inlet manifold.they arn't going to desolve every 50k are they.??
ANYWAY enough of all that,we'll be here all night explaining what i've had to enjore with this nightmare vehicle.
can anyone please give me any advice(constructive) on power steering pump removal and fitting.??
it's a 1.9 cdti 150bhp sicknum 55 plate.the pump unit is at the back of the engine, just below the rack, apparently the ecu is built in.i've obtained a 2nd hand one coz i just flatly refuse to continue throwing money away on this supposed cracking car.
this is what i've read, heard so far.questions etc??
1.does the 2nd hand pump need recoding, programming once on the car.
2.did it also need reset before removing it of the scrapper from the breakers yard.
3.what is a cim?? apparently thats got something to do with it too.
has anyone fitted and how difficult is it,it looks relatively strait frwd,3 bolts 2 hoses, system refill bobs your uncle,or am i missing something??
and finally ladies and gents, does anyone wanna buy a signum??
please help people many thanks tommy.

A CIM is the Column Integration Module, the black plastic thing hidden under the plastic cowling on the steering column behind the steering wheel. Basically it's yet another ECU.

Out of interest, what's the maximum number of passengers you ferry in your taxi - 3 or 4?

4 in that one but its rare you get 4 passengers,so occasionally someone has to sit on the middle hump, usually the smallist.lol.will i have to do anything with this cim thing then too do you think.

    1. Yes
    2. Afaik they need to be reset
    3. CIM = Column Integration Module Its in the steering column, it has steering angle sensors on it, Basically its another ECU unit. If you fit a 2nd hand pump im afraid without the dealership or someone with tech2 recoding it to your car it wont work

Its not the signum thats at fault, its the rubbish pile of scrap that VX call the 1.9 150.
