Default Weird sighting last night !

I was having 5 minutes cooling down outside at work last night and saw something strange in the sky.
It was about half 2 in the morning, the sky had some clouds but i could see the stars through the gaps. As i was stood there, i saw 2 bright lights moving side by side behind the cloud. I thought satalite, but it (they) then stopped in the same spot for 2 or 3 minutes and changed from bright white light to a greenish colour then back to white.
Could it be a police helicopter, no, there was no noise and now wind last night and as the helicopter is always over the area (Wolverhampton) you get used to seeing and hearing that.
A cloud came over and blocked it from view for about a minute, when it passed the lights were gone !

No idea what i was watching or saw. Weird.

We live near a valley, and I remember one night - the same time of night roughly years ago seeing bright lights from the top of one of the hills, then they just went out. Could of been workman doing something - could of been anything.

Report it to the local aviation authority, they'll tell you if it was an identified craft or it it was unidentified. You just need to give them a time, location, direction and desciption.

I work a very early morning shift and have seen some odd lights in the sky before, haven't said anything in case people thought I was bonkers. As long as you weren't probed then I'm sure you're safe

hmmm... if you were in Norway or somewhere far north might have said "aurora, maybe?" but don't think those are visible in Wolverhampton very often.
    Sounds weird!
