I for one don't believe him! I'm having some major work done this week - new inlet manifold + Actuator, Timing Belt Kit and new EGR valve. The parts alone are in the region of 500 then there is labour on top - so it's going to be a rather large bill. My Inlet Manifold including actuator alone is £260 for the parts. The manifold alone can be picked up on ebay for about £150 so to get one for £80 would mean it is either not a genuine GM part or Used

not bad, My local garage quoted me £135 - £180 (max) + £20.00 for cambelt kit, I supply parts. So a max of £200.00 labour for a cambelt change + water pump + inlet manifold, imo a bargain!

A lot of garages are lowing prices to get work and stay in business. If they dont, they are out of a job.
