Pre PVS clean......

Well as it was a dry day and I have the day off I thought I would start to prepare the car for PVS on Sunday.
Jet washed
2 bucket method with autoglym
Rinsed then Clayed
Rinshed then dried with leather and towel
Polished with autoglym resin polish
Waxed with mers ultimate gold
Then applied autoglym high gloss, left 45 mins then buffed with a microfibre...
Cleaned alloys with autoglym wheel cleaner, dressed tyres.
Tomorrow I will be tackling the inside and getting my stuff together for PVS (quick detailer,bucket,sponge,microfibres etc).......Lets just hope it dont rain lol.....

Just a question....Im thinking about getting some headlight eyebrows, do I colourcode or carbon dip/wrap em? I say this because I am adding little exterior carbon bits, I have already got carbon as background of the opel on grill, I will hopefully be the owner of some carbon dipped opel wheel centres........Might try a photoshop mmmmmmmmmm...

good work Scott, wish we'd had good weather here!! being trying to do mine all week and keeps ****** raining! Plate looks good on the front too buddy.

Cheers Ben.....Thats why I ran out and just did it lol.....Its just so bloomin hard to get a great shine on this colour lol, next car will be black or Red lol as it always makes it look like the hard work was worth it haha.
Plus can never get the right light for a good shine photo.

Yeah I prefer the Plate surround on the front, heres more pics lol:

next time you take pics mate try and get it done somewhere with a darker surrounding like a multi storey car park, shine will show up better then

Yes on dark colours coming up better, but at least with yours and mine, they look good for longer Now you've got some wax on it, everytime you wash or get bugs/ birds leaving off, spray some Quick Detail on, replaces the layer you've washed off.

Thats why I ran out and did it today. Forecast not good tomorrow Heavy Rain oh dear. But at least it will just run of due to the wax and sealing. Will be a bucket of water/demon shine and a drying cloth and quick detailer on the day lol.........Just hope the forecast is wrong for sunday and the sun will come out to play.

have a look at a few old posts i did on a silver merc /mondeo . you will see you can get a good shine on light colours ,it is just that black/red/dark blue do seem to look better .
