Default About time it had it's first clay...

As per the title i decided it was time to give the veccy a good detailing including a decent wash and then out with the clay bar and a good wax to finish. My first time using a clay bar, the first time i heard about it i thought that farley (another ni member) was going a little crazier then usual but it works wonders to both the paintwork and the muscles in your arms!! Well worth it tho.

Also fitted some signum fog surrounds- thanks to ian highlander for the part numbers.

Apologies for the pics, me mum is away on hols with her keys and i couldnt move her civic out the way...

Firstly off with the bumper, fog surrounds fitted and then wash, clay and wax..

Please feel free to leave your opinion and if you think i should add/remove anything once again feel free to tell me..

    Cheers
    Grant

£36 for both the chrome and backing parts for both sides- bargain!!! Just ring your local vx dealer and should take about 2 days to get in i think they make a prefacelift veccy look a few years younger..

Part numbers- (with thanks to ian highlander)

    Signum chrome fog surrounds (pre-facelift)
    LHS chrome part - 13120744
    RHS chrome part - 13120745

Cheers farley, was your seeing your thread that made me have a go dude.

Clay the glass?? You joking mate?! No i didnt but surely it would be too abrasive for the glas no? Will it not leave the glass with that misty/glazed look?
