Ok have purchased the towbar second hand , the electrics look like they have module with them. Do you have to detach the battery for doing the electrics?

It would be safer if you did mate, you don't want to wreck the electrics

And take it it's pretty easy to put on an wire in I had a look on the how 2 and it's for a vectra c hatch so guess it's along same lines. Will be trying it this weekend .

so fitted the towbar and the wirng and it all works as planned thank god. So now my next question is with the gm towbar fitted will i be able to fit my irmscher quad exhausts??? cheers.

AnyOne know about the quad exhaust and towbar it's a standard gm permanent towbar it does look like it sticks out to the right and left of the centre of the irmscher rear bottom sill?
