Laptop for car

I had a 10.1" laptop in the boot, an IBM machine purely for all the car software, EPC, OpCom and TIS ect. now, that laptop has died and looking for another to replace it, have found this one, not a top of the range one but a reasonable make and its only for the car anyway, already found all the windows XP drivers so would change to that immediately, what are peoples opinion please....

looks ok, was thinking of getting one myself for the exact same reason.

Although.... not sure on the power button placement...

they all seem to be roughly the same spec which ever one you get imo

Have you thought about a UMPC? ive been tempted for a while, as you can get car mounts for them

just type UMPC into ebay or google. Its a type of PC rather than a make (ultra mobile PC). There are various types, so research would be required.

Turned up today Lofty, lovely little bit of kit, gonna format it tonight and put XP Pro on it so i can run all the TIS, EPC and OP-Com from it....
